Process mapping y'all.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘓𝘖𝘖𝘒 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦?
I often use a visual mind map with clients for this, and behind the scenes, I organize my thoughts in a Google Sheet.
This time, I used Airtable to process map my client journey.
(𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬)
I listed out every single step of the process. Attached is a photo of what a lil bit of that looks like.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁:
• Gives a clear visual of tasks, roles, and steps, reducing confusion.
• Identifies bottlenecks and redundant tasks, helping streamline operations.
• Standardizes processes for reliable, repeatable results.
• Helps visualize changes and their impact on the business.
• Improves communication by defining who does what.
• Makes roles and responsibilities clear to everyone.
• Creates scalable systems as the business expands.
In short, process mapping makes work smoother, faster, and more organized, especially as businesses grow.
Next week - I show you SUPPORTING MATERIALS COLLECTING.
