It’s not you, it’s me (except when it’s you): Reasons You Might Be Feeling Tech Resistant.

It’s not you, it’s me (except when it’s you): 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗕𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁.

When qualifying a lead, I typically place them into one of two categories to assess our potential fit:

• 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀/𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁

• 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁

(𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶?)

Your limitations with technology aren’t solely about how “tech literate” you are—it’s 100% a mindset.

I’ve encountered individuals with PhDs and six-figure incomes who claim, “Zoom hates me.”

IM SORRY but if you have the title "DOCTOR" you can figure out Zoon.

The reality is that many resist learning new tools for a few understandable reasons:

It can feel frustrating to step outside our comfort zones.

Learning new tools can be... straight up BORING when you got other sh*t to do.

The overwhelming number of tools available makes it hard to know which one is right for you.

nEwS fLaSh from your friendly neighborhood systems strategist: 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵.

𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺.

If you don’t embrace a project management tool that meets your company’s needs, your team communication will be disorganized and stressful.

If you don’t learn how to use a CRM to follow up with leads and clients, you’re essentially leaving money on the table.

etc. etc. etc.

Failing to learn these tools will make growth more painful than watching tutorial videos ever could.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆! 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Here are a few solutions to curb your tech resistance:

• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 to determine the right tech stack for your needs, saving you time and effort in researching unnecessary tools.

• 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 to set up the tools for you and then teach you how to use them.

• 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 your team on these tools so you can focus on the high-level strategy rather than the nitty-gritty details.

Obviously I'm not subtle: Its me! The person you need is me. Full stop.

I will:

• Identify the tools you actually need to run your business.

• Set them up for you.

• Train you and your team on how to use them effectively.

How freaking nice is that?
