Keep It Simple, Stupid 😘
The year was 2020.
The virus-who-must-not-be-named was in full swing, and everyone spent most of their day on social media.
At the time, I was working my way out of Virtual Assisting and into full-time Online Business Management.
(Which would eventually turn into System Strategy - something that YOU can have in your business by scheduling a call with me)
So, as you can imagine, I was creating many systems for businesses that revolved around keeping up with the socials.
Every business has a different way of using social media, so the systems are always different.
One of my favorite systems was for a business coach. She had her own solid system for creating and posting content - she just needed me to develop a system for repurposing and engagement.
The reason I loved this system so much was because of its stupid simplicity.
It was 5 simple steps, and they all fit nicely into a Google Doc checklist with pictures:
Share the latest IG post to stories
Summarize what the post was about in the story
Link to the related podcast in the story
Update her IG bio with the title of the podcast episode and link
Respond to any recent comments or messages
And even though there were only five steps - I read through that Google Doc every. day.
Having the system in place and documented meant that I didn’t have to THINK, and the work was done perfectly every day.
This worked like a charm for a solid 6 months until this coach decided to switch things up with her marketing strategy.
But hey, that's the beauty of it – our systems are like chameleons, always ready to adapt.
Now, I'm not bragging (yes I am), but I specialize in crafting systems that are as simple or complicated as needed.
The systems I create these days are wayyy more complex and automated - but I still create systems that are
