The elusive secret to Stress-Free Launches (Hint: Not Adderall)
I’ve moved so many times in my life.
Once, I moved three times in a single year -
All because I spent my 20s chasing the cheapest rent in the coolest neighborhoods of Portland.
Every time I found a better deal, I jumped ship.
That also meant I always had roommates who were equally willing to pay rock-bottom rent.
But, there’s one thing about living with five people all sharing one bathroom and paying $100 each:
They all hate cleaning. Like, always.
I’m not the biggest fan either, but I like things being clean SO I JUST DO IT, OKAY?
My cleaning method is to do a deep clean a few times a year when I have a day off, and quick tidying every other day just to maintain it.
Most of my roommates? Their version of cleaning was to panic-deep-clean right before the landlord’s annual check-in.
This involved a LOT of Adderall that only one roommate was actually prescribed to and most of us calling into work "sick" so we would have time to clean.
It was stressful and rushed and tensions were always high and everyone was always so pissed off.
"This is your fault for throwing a party last weekend!"
"We all threw that party! We throw them every weekend!"
"Why is your cat’s litter all over the floor?"
"Well your dog is the one that keeps shitting in the living room"
(These are the memories I cling to when I think I miss my youth)
As I look back, I realize there’s a parallel between this chaotic cleaning routine and the way many business owners run their operations - especially when launches or big projects roll around.
Just like my old roommates, many business owners wait until the last minute to get their sh*t together.
Building systems before a launch or major project is essential to avoid stress and frustration.
Yet, too many end up building systems while they’re in the middle of a launch, scrambling because things aren’t efficient, and stress levels are through the roof.
That’s when the late nights happen, tempers flare, and the team is mad at each other because everything is taking longer than expected.
And then you come to me, only to find that I am booked tf.
(PSSSTTT - this is my not-so-sublte way of reminding you that:
I am booked out until the summer
I am only taking on a few more Offer Optimization projects this year.
I am raising my prices in Q2.
If you want to work with me this year, we need to get on a call now.)
This doesn’t have to be your reality.
Imagine being able to launch a project smoothly and efficiently - no panic, no rushing, and no unnecessary stress.
This is where I come in. Together we will:
Build custom processes that fit your team and goals.
Automate tasks to save time and reduce human error.
Create the infrastructure that ensures smooth execution - especially when you need it most.
By setting up your systems before the pressure is on, you’ll create a well-oiled machine that lets you and your team focus on what really matters—delivering great work to your clients.
