WHY $100K?
WHY 100k????
For the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing my two big goals for the year:
📌 Book out my year by the end of Q1
📌 Hit $100K in revenue
But why is $100K my goal?
Super Operations Genius & Biz Bestie Ariana Tenine hammers this home constantly:
She always asks, "WHY this number?"
Because the number itself isn’t the goal.
The number is just how we get to the goal.
The goal could be things like:
✔ Taking care of our family
✔ Health insurance for our employees
✔ More flexibility in our work/life balance
So… why did I land on $100K?
1️⃣ I just want to see if I can do it.
I’ve been building my business for years. I don’t want a team. I don’t want to scale beyond my current setup. But I do want to see if I can maximize what I have and hit six figures.
2️⃣ I did the math.
Last year, my husband was in and out of work (the tech industry is rough right now). We’ve been a one-income household, and a mix of luck, intentional choices, and my innate frugality means we don’t really need more than $100K total.
And even though Rob has a job again, I like the safety net this revenue brings.
3️⃣ I wanted to prove my own offer works.
My main offer is all about optimizing your main offer - getting super efficient so you can scale revenue without scaling work.
So, in theory, I should be able to take on more clients and make more money without a team.
And I wanted to put that theory to the test.
And so far? It’s working.
I’m writing this a few weeks in advance, but as of right now… I am thiiiiiis close to hitting my goals. 🤏
Next week, I’ll share the final verdict—DID I MAKE IT?
Stay tuned. 👀
